Try trawling for salmon on loch Ness. Recently since all salmon netting has been stopped in river estuaries salmon stocks are now noticeably on the rise . More fish are being caught by rod and line every year . I Know through personal experience the numbers of salmon moving through loch Ness has increased dramatically over the last few years

Trawling for trout in loch Lochy has also become very popular and the rewards are plentiful. Not only is there a good stock of big brown trout {i.e.} photos below, there is also some very big weathered rainbow trout. There are also some very good places on the Lochy and the Oich to try your arm with the many lures and flies provided. Tuition is made available for the beginner.

We also offer day excursions to many of the hill lochs surrounding loch Ness where small wild brown trout are abundant. This offers an excellent opportunity to perfect your fly casting abilities
